Obituary Zelda Counts, 88, of Cape Carteret, died Friday, February 24, 2017, at Crystal Bluffs Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Morehead City, NC. Services will be private. Zelda was born in 1928, in Red Level, AL, to Robert and Neilie Bowland. She worked as a bookkeeper in the Montgomery, AL area for many years. She is survived by her son, Ken Counts of Cape Carteret; three grandchildren, Nathan Counts of Jackson Hole WY, April Counts of Pontiac MI and Joel Counts of Morehead City.
