Obituary Xander Kaleb Italiano, 16 months, of Beaufort, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017, in Beaufort. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 26, at First United Methodist Church, Morehead City, with the Rev. Powell Osteen, Jr., officiating. Xander had a way of bringing people together and making them feel special. He was a bright light that brought joy and happiness to all that knew him. He is survived by his parents, Heavanlee Crawford and Dorian Whitten of Beaufort; maternal grandmother, Betty Damron; paternal grandmother, Angela Italiano; aunt, Kaylee Messere and uncles, Adam Gray and Anthony Crawford. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First United Methodist Church, 900 Arendell Street, Morehead City, NC 28557.
