William Ethier

Obituary William R. Ethier, 63, of Newport, died Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Carteret Health Care, Morehead City. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 am, Monday, December 11, 2017, at the First United Methodist Church, with Rev. E. Powell Osteen, Jr., officiating. Mr. Ethier was born in Portsmouth VA., to Mr. Benjamin Ethier and Mrs. Bruce Marie Davis. He served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard retiring as a Chief Petty Officer. He is survived by two daughters; Tracy Ethier of Corpus Christi, TX., Kelly Williams, of Corpus Christi, TX; three sons, William Ethier, Jr., of LaGrange, Craig Ethier of Newport, and Christopher Ether of Newport; his mother Bruce Marie Davis of Newport; two sisters Cindy Card of Newport and Barbara Caraway of Newport; one brother Benjamin Ethier of Hubert; 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. His father preceded him in death.
