Wilburn Mcclung

Obituary Wilburn Wayne McClung, 83, of Morehead City, died December 2, 2014, at his home. At his request, there will be no local services at this time. Mr. McCl;ung was born in Orient Hill, West Virginia, to Lake L. and Nellie Fleshman McClung. He served his country in the US Air Force for over 27 years, achieving the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. Upon returning to Carteret County, he was Greens Superintendent for the Brandywine Bay Country Club. He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Settle, of Morehead City; brother, S. Gene McClung, and his wife, Libby, of Morehead City; two sisters, Drema Dorsey, and husband, Junior, of Rupert, WV and Murlene Pomeroy, and husband, Larry, of Clayton, NC; one grandchild, Jessica Settle, and one great-grandchild, Bryce Ketner.
