Virginia 'Jenny' Thrasher

Obituary Virginia Tucker Thrasher, 90 of Morehead City died Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at the Crystal Coast Hospice House. Born Nov, 27, 1928 in Griffin Ga, she was the daughter of the late Jarvis Stewart Tucker and Ira Byrd Tucker and was preceded in death by her husband Sidney Thrasher and a infant son, Timothy Thrasher, and a sister Edythe McElwaney. Virginia was a member of the Havelock Church of the Nazarene and was a devoted Christian wife, aunt and friend. She was filled with compassion and love for others including all of Gods creation. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Brooks Funeral Home in Morehead City. Visitation will be held from 2- 3 pm and a celebration of her life will be held at 3 pm with the Rev Mike Barefield and Rev. Steve Creech officiating.
