Obituary Vaughan Lee Brunjes, 80, of Pine Knoll Shores died Thursday, February 9, 2017, at her home. She was born February 25, 1936 in Hartford, CT to Douglas and Isabelle Lee Soule. Mrs. Brunjes loved her three golden retrievers, Sunshine, Butterscotch and Honey Bear and her dachshund, Heidi. She is survived by her daughter, Dana Lee Fredriksson and husband Allan of Lakewood, CO; sons, Todd David Brunjes and wife Christa of McLean, VA and John Christopher Brunjes and wife Kira of Vienna, VA; 4 grandchildren, Daniel Brunjes, Rachel Brunjes, Justin Brunjes and William Brunjes. In addition to her parents, her husband, Kenneth Henry Brunjes, Jr. and brother, David Soule, preceded her in death.
