Obituary Thomas Ramsey Owens, 82, of Beaufort, died Friday, November 20, 2015 at Crystal Bluffs Rehabilitation and Health Center. Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, November 23, 2015, at 3:00 p,m, at St. Pauls Episcopal Church Cemetery, with Rev. John Carlisto officiating. Thomas was born November 9, 1933, in Beaufort to Charles and Manie Davis Owens. He retired after 32 years of service with Duke Marine Lab. He had a wide following of friends and was a loving, caring brother. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the loving, kind care given to Thomas during his four years at Crystal Bluffs He is survived by two sisters, Julie Mansfield, and her husband, Melvin, of Pine Knoll Shores, and Evelyn Fulcher, and her husband, Donald of Beaufort; brother-in-law, Johnny Gaskill, of Beaufort, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his sisters. Mary Ann Thompson, Wanda Gaskill and Dollie Morris, and brothers, Charles Owens and Derwood Owens.
