September 23, 1946 — May 15, 2019

Obituary Teresa Elizabeth (Jackson) Reynolds, born in Greenwood, Delaware on September 23, 1946 to Ruth Virginia (Canter) Jackson and Albert Edward Jackson, Jr., died peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, May 15, 2019. She grew up in Circleville, Ohio and graduated from high school in 1964. She was strikingly beautiful and a winner in the Miss Fourth of July and Miss Pumpkin Show beauty contests that year. She had a natural gift for styling hair and while in high school she enjoyed creating beautiful styles for all her friends for dances and proms. In 1965 she attended cosmetology school and became a licensed beautician. In 1971 she met a handsome marine just home from Vietnam, Jerry D. Reynolds. They were married in Circleville, Ohio on August 5, 1972. Jerry supported her through the loss of her first child, a son, and adopted her daughter. They went on to have twin daughters together. Eventually they moved their family to Beaufort, NC and then to Morehead City, NC where they have enjoyed watching their family grow. Terri was a successful hair stylist and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Nothing brought her more joy than her family. She will be remembered by those who knew her for her kindness and caring. She always saw the goodness in everyone. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Jerry D. Reynolds; her three daughters, Talisha Reynolds DeSantis and her husband Michael of Newport, NC, Chrissy Reynolds Kimbro and her husband Duncan, and Tina Reynolds Boahn and her husband Charles, all of Morehead City, NC. She also has three granddaughters, Faith and Ruth Kimbro and Krista DeSantis Ethridge, and three grandsons, Dustin and Daniel Boahn and Dakota DeSantis. She will also be missed by her three great-grandchildren, Joseph Nelson and Laylah and Nicholas Ethridge; and a sister Denise Jackson Samolchuk and her husband James of Manchester by-the-sea, MA. She is preceded in death by her son Michael E. Wells, and her parents Ruth and Albert Jackson. A memorial gathering is planned for Monday, May 20, 2019 at 11am at Brooks Funeral Home.
