Sylvia Griffith

Sylvia Griffith, 88, of Morehead City passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025, at Carteret Health Care.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at First Apostolic Church in Morehead City, NC. Inurnment will be private.

Sylvia is survived by her sons, John Griffith (Carmen) of Voca, TX, Joseph Griffith (Cyndy) of Beaufort, NC; daughters, Debbi Messerli (Calvin) of Brownsville, TX, and Eve Anderson (Andy) of Sun Valley, CA; her brother, Benny Rawles of Puerto Rico; sister-in-law, Beverly Rawles of Minnesota; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a niece, Patti Vializ of Palmview, TX.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Rollin Griffith.
