Obituary Sybil Braxton Allsbrook, 98, of Morehead City, died Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at Crystal Bluffs Health Care Center. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 2, at Sunnyside Cemetery, Scotland Neck, NC. She was born in Gates County on April 20, 1916 to John Thomas Braxton and Gladys Jackson Braxton. She is survived by her daughter, Sylvia Allsbrook Widgeon of Morehead City; son, Leland Lee Allsbrook and wife Nancy of Monteagle, TN; grandson, Ben Widgeon; granddaughter, Wendy Allsbrook Javier and husband, Rob; great-grandsons, Will Widgeon and Elias Javier. In addition to her parents, her husband, Leland Lawrence Allsbrook and son-in-law, Billy Widgeon, preceded her in death.
