Obituary Steve McNeil Lewis Jr, the Son of Steve McNeil Lewis Sr and Angela Taylor Compton, was born on March 7, 1989 in Morehead City, North Carolina. Steve attended Croatan High School where he was a member of the football team and Cape Lookout Marine Science. He was known by his family and friends as Stevie or Big Steve. Steve was a great joy to be around and was respected for his kindness, compassion, and helpfulness. He had a passion for music, singing, rapping, song writing and cooking. Steve had a lively personality and always made people around him laugh and feel good. He enjoyed being around family and friends. He touched many lives and the fond memories will forever remain in our hearts. Steve was called to rest on Thursday, October 15, 2020 in Burlington, North Carolina. He leaves behind his Father, Steve Lewis Sr. of Morehead City, NC and Mother, Angela Taylor Compton of the home. A son, Sincere Lewis of the home, a brother Willie Lewis III of Morehead City, NC, and Step-Father Willie Compton of the home. Special Friends Heather Steagall, Desmond Vann, and Marcel Lesesne; a host of nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and all that loved and will miss him dearly. A funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Noe-Brooks Funeral Home of Morehead City.
