Obituary Sherry White, 68, passed away Friday, April 29, 2016, at her home in Morehead City. Her celebration of life will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 21, 2016, outside at the labyrinth of St. Francis By The Sea Episcopal Church located at 920 Salter Path Road with the priest, Rev. L. Everett Thomas, PhD, presiding. Survivors are daughters Jill White of Greenville and Angie Lawson of Virginia, son-in-law Tim Lawson of Virginia, grandchildren Dakota and Jared Lawson of Virginia and great-grandson Noah Lawson of Virginia. Sherry wore many hats; magazine and newspaper editor, writer, basket maker, quilter but perhaps we knew her best as a loyal and true friend. Her hope for the future is best expressed in the song, "Imagine", by John Lennon.
