Sarah Judith Wilmoth

Obituary Ms. Sarah Judith (Judy) Wilmoth, 74, of Emerald Isle, passed away February 19, 2016, at the Harborview Rehabilitation Center in Morehead City after a lengthy illness. A 30-year area resident, "Ms. Judy" as she was known to the many wonderful friends and customers whose hair she styled while working in various local salons, was born in Wheeling, WV, to John and Sarah Miller, both deceased. She was a devout member of Emerald Isle Baptist Church for more than 20 years, and loved attending services. In her spare time she enjoyed socializing with friends, boating and reading the Bible, and had been actively doing the job she loved so much until about a year ago. Loving mother of four, she is survived by her son, Danny Martin Banks of Emerald Isle, and daughter, Eugenia "Genia" Trousdell of Atlanta and Bluffton, SC. She was preceded in death by her eldest daughter, Angela Hobbick in 2010; and a young son, Mark. Grandchildren include Sarah, Chelsey and Dalton Hobbick, all of Hendersonville, NC; Drew Banks of Charleston, NC; Tyler Banks of Hendersonville; and Hannah and Isabelle Silver of Bluffton, SC. She is also survived by one great grandchild, Jackson Hobbick of Hendersonville, NC. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 14, at Emerald Isle Baptist Church with the Rev. Freddie Braswell officiating. At this time, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, you wait for information on donating to a charity that Ms. Judy loved.
