Obituary Sarah Elizabeth Carraway, 75, of Morehead City, died Monday, December 21, 2015, at Carteret Health Care. A graveside memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, December 27, 2015, at Ocean View Cemetery, Beaufort, with Rev. Powel Osteen officiating. She was born July 2, 1940, to Roland Lawrence and Sarah Elizabeth Parsons Swain in Beaufort Sarah is survived by her daughters, Tammy Boyette of Beaufort and Donna Singletary of Morehead City; son, Larry Carraway of Newport; sister, Linda Faye Green of Beaufort; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, her son, Michael Thomas Carraway, brothers, Donald, Alton, George, and Calvin Swain and sisters, Patsy Carraway and Phyllis Milam all preceded her in death. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to the Hope Mission of Carteret County, PO 1438, Morehead City, NC 28557.
