Rosemarie Handshumaker

Obituary Rosemarie Juliana Handshumaker, 87, of New Bern, NC died October 13, 2014 . A graveside memorial service will be planned for early summer, 2015, at the Anderson Cemetery in Stanwood, Washington. She was born to Anna Filbig and Killan Winter, May 8, 1927, in Wurzburg, Germany. She loved to travel, sew and read, but is remembered by many as a talented cook and baker. Rosemarie is survived by three children, Gene R. Handshumaker of Republic, Washington, Linda Passwaters (Chuck) of New Bern, NC and Robert H. Handshumaker, Jr., of Henderson, NC; grandchildren, Rob and Heidi Handshumaker, Michael and Steven Heazlit and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Robert H. Handshumaker.
