Ronald Pulver

Obituary After an amazing 72 years of life, Ronald Raymond Pulver of Newport, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2014, at Carteret General Hospital. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 20, 2014, at Brooks Funeral Home Chapel. Ronnie was proud of his 55 years of service as a member of the Lafayette Chemical Company Fire Department and the Valatie Santa Claus Club. He was a former Justice of the Peace who loved Nascar, especially Dale Earnhardt. Ronnie was born and raised in Valatie, New York by Joseph and Marion Pulver. He will be remembered for his love of cooking (especially chocolate cake and spaghetti), politics, and as a feisty and loving husband, father, and poppy. He will be missed and as Ronnie said, When the big guy says its your time to go, its your time to go. He is survived by his wife, Judith Audrey Pulver, and was a devoted husband of 52 years, along with his love of his dog, Charlie; 2 children, Tammy Turek and husband, Gene, and Rhonda Pulver-Egnasher Cafarelli; two brothers, four grandchildren, Crystal Walsh and husband, Timothy, Jennifer Egnasher and fiance, Jordan White, Karla McDowell and husband, Michael, and Michelle Turek; eight great-grandchildren, Grace and Samuel Walsh, Audrey DeMello, Peyton White, Mason McDowell, and Shiloh, Isaiah, and Roman Turek. In addition to his parents, four brothers and sisters, preceded him in death. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Carteret General Hospital for Raab Clinic Fund, P. O.
