Obituary Robert Walter Samet, 82, of Morehead City died Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at home. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 5, at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, Jacksonville. Mr. Samet was born September 12, 1933 in Flushing, New York, to Walter Patrick and Mae Talino Samet. He spent 22 years in the United States Navy attaining the rank of Petty Officer First Class. He additionally worked for the United States Postal Service for 22 years. He is survived by two sons: James Edward Samet of Evansville, Wyoming, and Joseph Samet of Texas; 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, his wife, Elda Samet, and a granddaughter preceded him in death. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warriors Leave, Military Order of the Purple Heart, P. O.
