Richard Johnson

Obituary Richard Aiken Johnson, 73, of Fuquay-Varina, died Monday, October 29, 2018 at his vacation residence in Emerald Isle. No services are schedules at this time. Richard was born in Raleigh to John Douglas Johnson and Charlotte Aiken Johnson. He is a graduate of East Carolina University and served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Richard sold body shop supplies to various body shops all over the country. He is a charter member of the First United Methodist Church of Fuquay-Varina. He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Sarah B. Johnson; one son, Richard A. Johnson Jr. and wife Ginger, of Fuquay-Varina; one daughter, Jennifer Johnson Blalock and husband James of Morehead City; two grandchildren, Sierra and Corri Johnson of Fuquay-Varina. In addition to his parents, a brother, John Douglas Johnson, preceded him in death.
