Obituary Ralph Andrew Sterlen, 84 of Morehead City, died Friday, July 31, 2015, at WakeMed, Raleigh. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at Brooks Funeral Home, with Rev. E. Powell Osteen officiating. The interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park with military honors. Mr. Sterlen was born in Brooklyn, NY, to Ole and Magda Sterlen. He is a graduate of Morehead City High School class of 1949. Mr. Sterlen served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He retired as an industrial engineer from Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point. He is survived by his wife, Daisy S. Sterlen, of Morehead City, and a son, Ralph Andrew Sterlen, Jr., of Wake Forest. His parents preceded him in death. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
