Raffaele Bellizzi

Obituary Raffaele Bellizzi lived a full life. He was born in Italy in 1928 and immigrated to Argentina and later to Venezuela, where he met and married the love of his life, Ingrid. They were blessed with 3 children: Piero, Jeanette (Mark Johnson) and Thomas (Doerthe). Starting with just the clothes on his back, he eventually built a successful international shipping business. He was a man with a big heart that matched his big personality. His business success enabled him to participate in many philanthropic and humanitarian activities, and earned him recognition by the Italian Republic for his service, equivalent to Knighthood (Cavaliere). He was a global citizen and the original "most interesting man in the world". He will be missed and always loved by many. He passed away peacefully at home, with this daughter by his side. The family will celebrate his life privately at a later date.
