Obituary Nancy Kathryn Neal, 89, of Morehead City, died Monday, July 20, 2015, at her home. A memorial service will be at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Brooks Funeral Home, with Rev. Timothy Havlicek, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, officiating. A reception will be held at Nancys home following the memorial service. Nancy was born in Baltimore, MD on October 7, 1925, to Dorsey and Kathryn Waters. Nancy loved life, loved people and was an inspiration to all who knew her. Her patience, care, compassion and inner spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her son, D.J. says he will honor her life by remembering her grace every day and sharing it as she did with everyone she met. She is survived by her son, Donald Louis Neal, Jr. of Washington, DC and 3 granddaughters, Katie, Alex and Read who love her very much. Nancys friends will also survive her and have shared how much they will miss her. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Neal was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Louis Neal, Sr., and her 3 sisters, Jean, Debbie and Peggy.
