Masson Joseph Caras

Obituary Masson Joseph Caras, 15, of Beaufort, died Saturday, March 2, 2019, at Carteret Health Care. Masson was born in Carteret County on November 12, 2003, to David Angel and Kimberly Littrell Caras. A Straight "A" student, with a 4.0 GPA, he was a student at East Carteret High School. Masson was a very serious, caring and courteous young man. He enjoyed playing his bass guitar and looked forward to finishing high school and heading to college. He also was looking forward to getting his drivers license. In addition to his parents, he is survived by 2 brothers, Dallon Matthew Caras and Connor David Caras; sister, Heather Marie Caras; maternal grandmother, Phyllis Littrell, of Havelock; several aunts and uncles, and a special great aunt, Jo, and numerous cousins. The family will receive friends at Brooks Funeral Home on Thursday, March 7, 2019, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Masson was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Wilburn Eugene Littrell.
