Obituary Mary Frances Murphy, 85, of Morehead City, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, died Friday, November 6, 2015, at PruittHealth at Sea Level, Sea Level, NC. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 11, at St. Egbert Catholic Church with the Rev. Thomas R. Davis officiating. The interment will follow at Greenwood Park Cemetery, Morehead City. Mrs. Murphy was born September 14, 1930 in Philadelphia, PA to Michael Joseph McNeila and Margaret McNulty McNeila. She worked in the accounts payable department for Conrail. She is survived by her daughter, Margaret Darby of Morehead City; five grandchildren, Peter Hutnick, Maggie Morris, Michael Hutnick, Molly Hutnick, and Craigan Lynch; and three great-grandchildren, Jackson Morris, Alexandria Lynch, and Nathan Springle. In addition to her parents, her husband, Lawrence Murphy, and brothers, Francis Xavier McNeila and Michael Joseph McNeila, preceded her in death. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 10, from 6:00 8:00 p.m. Flowers are welcome.
