Obituary Mary S. McCabe, 87, of Morehead City, died Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at Carteret Health Care. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, August 12, 2017, at First Baptist Church, Morehead City. Mrs. McCabe was born in Morehead City on September 16, 1929. She was the oldest child of Jesse Lee "Tony" Seamon and Lillie Belle Seamon. She is survived by her daughter Karen Ann McCabe of Morehead City; two sisters, Joan Putnam of Morehead City and June Aliyetti of Morehead City; two nephews John and Paul Aliyetti. The family will receive friends at Brooks Funeral Home on Friday, August 11, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. In addition to her parents, her husband Gordon Edward McCabe, Sr., her son Gordon E. "Gordy" McCabe, Jr., and her brother "J. L."
