Obituary Mary Lou Phillips Hill, 90, of Raleigh and Beaufort, died Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Crystal Bluffs Rehab and Health Care Center, Morehead City. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 3rd, 2018 at St. Pauls Episcopal Church, Beaufort, at 11:00 AM. She is survived by her sons, Randy Phillips, and wife, June, of Beaufort; Mike Phillips, of Beaufort; daughters, Christina H. Lighthall, and husband, John, of Raleigh; Katie H. Beer, and husband, Jerry, of Palm Beach Gardens, Fl; Sara H. Ruiter, and husband, Bart of Newark, DE; 10 grand-children and 7 great-grandchildren. The family will greet friends and visitors at the church immediately following the service. Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by her husbands, Richard D. Phillips of Orlando, FL and Nathaniel M. Hill, of Raleigh and Beaufort, and her son, Rick Phillips of Raleigh and St. Petersburg, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to PAWS Animal Shelter, 5042 Mattie Street, Morehead City, NC 28557 or to St. Pauls Episcopal Church, 215 Ann Street, Beaufort, NC 28516.
