Obituary Martha Muriel Carlisle Haley, 93, of Newport died Saturday, March 29, 2014 at CarolinaEast Medical Center. No services are scheduled. She was born in Indianapolis, IN on October 6, 1920 to Earl John Carlisle and Muriel Elizabeth Diettrich Carlisle. Mrs. Haley was an Administrative Assistant for the Indianapolis Union Railway. She was a devout Christian. She enjoyed spending time with family and reading. She is survived by her daughter, Jeanne E. Brown and husband, Tom, of Newport; son, John C. Haley and wife, Mary, of Redington Shores, FL; grandchildren, Sarah Marie Allen, Joseph Haley, and James Haley; great-grandchildren, Noah Allen and Nicolas Allen. In addition to her parents, her sister, Sara Beatrice Wilson, preceded her in death. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Joyce Meyer Ministries, P. O.
