Obituary Mark Richard Overcash, 55, of Piney Creek, formerly of Troutman, died Saturday, October 11, 2014, in Harkers Island. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 17, 2014, at Wesleys Chapel United Methodist Church, Troutman. Mr. Overcash was born September 13, 1959, in Statesville, to Norman Ray OverCash, and Nora Elaine Overcash. He is survived by a son, Jared Clay Overcash and wife, Jennifer, of Hickory; his mother, Nora Elaine Overcash, of Troutman; a brother, Stephen Ray Overcash, of Troutman and special friend, Hope Pennell. His father preceded him in death.
