Obituary Marion Grace Parker Walker, 86, of Pine Knoll Shores, died Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Carteret Health Care. A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Brooks Funeral Home. Marion was born August 19, 1931 in Plainfield, New Jersey to Edward J. Parker and Marion A. Parker. She has worked as a Registered Nurse for various hospitals in North Carolina and California before moving to Carteret County. While living in Pine Knoll Shores she volunteered with the Pine Knoll Shores Rescue Squad, the North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores and the Beaufort Historical Association. She is survived by three brothers; Warren A. Parker of Asbury, NJ, Eben H. Parker of Glen Gardner, NJ and James E. Parker of North Plainfield, NJ; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Her parents preceded her in death.
