Obituary Marilyn Lynn Williams, 69, of Newport, died Friday, October 23, 2015, at Carteret Health Care. At Marilyns request, there will be no local services. Marilyn was born in Columbus, Ohio, on September 9, 1946, to Ralph and Eva Lowry Heimerl. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her son, Michael Williams, and his wife, Melissa, of Asheville, NC; a daughter, Heidi Sonnichsen, and her husband, Cris, of Newport; a brother, Ralph (Bill) Heimerl of Hebron, Ohio; 2 sisters, Judy Hinderlong of Newark, Ohio and Shirley Copper of South Dakota; 2 grandsons, Brandon Williams and Alex Williams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Allen Williams and her brother, Dickie Heimerl.
