She was the Business Manager for the Smithtown Hospital, and retired in the late 1970`s due to declining health. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Daniel Simon; her mother, Irene Peters of Manhattan; a daughter, Melinda Sue Simon; son, Daniel Joseph Simon of Holbrook, NY, and her brother, John Peters of Manhattan, NY. She is preceded in death by her father. Services A committal service will be held at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY, at a later date.
