Obituary Lynda Carol Krewson, 71, of Morehead City, died Friday, September 23, 2016 at the home of her daughter. A private service will be held by the family. She was born in Kinston, NC to Harold Hawkins and Marjorie Bennet Hawkins. She is survived by two daughters, Lisa Carol Shore of Morehead City and Kimberly Jean Mason of Wilson; son, Larry Adelbert Long of Morehead City; sisters, Christi Avery of Morehead City and Donna Thomas of Newport; one grandchild; best friend in life, Patricia Taylor and her beloved dog, Kudjo. In addition to her parents, her husband, Gerald Eugene Krewson, preceded her in death. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to PAWS, 5042 Mattie Street, Morehead City, NC 28557.
