Lois Howland

Obituary Lois Dudley Howland, 85, of Beaufort, went to be with her husband, Edward Davis Howland, on Friday, June 16, 2017. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at 3:00 PM in Bay View Cemetery, with Rev. David Bruce officiating. Mrs. Howland was born in Carteret County on December 22, 1931, to Henry Bruce and Rhodora Lawrence Dudley. She worked for Sears Roebuck for at least 25 years as the Telephone Sales Lady, retiring in 1985. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Beaufort. She is survived by her son, David Howland, and his wife, Patty, of Harkers Island. In addition to her parents and her husband, Edward, she is preceded in death by her sons, Timothy Howland and Robert Howland, and her brother, Rev. Bruce Dudley. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in Lois name to Calvary Baptist Church, 119 Bunch Road, Beaufort, NC 28516.
