Obituary Lena Mae Day, 55, of Morehead City, died Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at home. Services will be announced at a later date. Lena Day was born in Morehead City, to Robert and Ina Wilkins. She grew up on Harkers Island. She is survived by a son David Fulford of Morehead City; two daughters Stephanie Lynn Georgin of Morehead City and Susan Marie Broadstreet of Newport; two brothers Robert Wilkins of Newport and David Dixon of Newport; one sister Brenda White of Morehead City; eight grandchildren. In addition to her parents, her sister Elizabeth Cannady, preceded her in death.
