Obituary Larry Wayne Willis, 64, of Newport, died Sunday, November 22, 2015, at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville, NC. No services will be held. Mr. Willis was born on April 5, 1951 in Morehead City to James Hugh and Laura Gaskill Willis. Larry is survived by his son, Larry Willis, Jr., of Newport, sister, Norma Hammersmall of Fillmore, MN, brother, James Thomas Willis of New Bern and bushels of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, his brother, Robert Willis, sisters, Linda Mills and Doris Burden, preceded him in death.
