Kathleen Dellape

Kathleen "Kathy" Dellape, 75, passed away peacefully on Thanksgiving morning 2023, at her home in Emerald Isle, North Carolina.

She was born in 1948 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Michael John and Antonine Dellape. A graduate of Notre Dame Prep School and Holy Cross College. After a career in social work and marketing she came to Emerald Isle as the Procurement and Quality Control VP for the Ocean Club Indian Beach, NC . Kathy enjoyed traveling with her sister and rescuing island cats.

Kathy is survived by her sister, Geraldine Delu, and brother in law Charles Delu of Newport; nephew, JR Sweet of Virginia; great nephews and nieces, Ryan F. Sweet, Lilly D’Angelo, Tessa Sweet, Liam Sweet, Lucy Sweet, Ava Sweet; and great nephews, Dexter, Cody, and Maxwell.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to Saint Jude’s Children's Research Hospital or your favorite animal shelter.

A private celebration of life with family is planned for a later date.
