Kathleen Bohley

Obituary Kathleen Jeanne Bohley, 79, of Newport died Sunday, March 12, 2017, at her home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 16, at St. Pauls Episcopal Church with the Rev. John Carlisto officiating. She was born January 1, 1938 in Erie, PA to Kenneth Charles Bolton and Elizabeth Margaretta Masters Bolton. After completing her education in Ohio and Pennsylvania schools, Kathy lived and worked in southern California, New Mexico and Ohio for several years. Subsequently, Kathy joined Warner Lambert Company in New Jersey as a transportation and distribution manager. After a satisfying career, she retired to Beaufort in 1989 where her husband, Gabe, taught mathematics in the public school system. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Joan Vagell of Watchung, NJ; sons, Marvin Gabell Bohley and wife Joan of Port St. Lucie, FL and Charles Phillip Bohley of Bonita Springs, FL; brother, Charles Bolton and wife Randie of Raleigh; 3 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, her husband, Frederick Gabell Bohley, and brothers, Darrell Bolton, Gary Bolton and Byron Bolton preceded her in death. The family will receive friends at the church parish hall following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the food pantry at St. Pauls Episcopal Church, 215 Ann Street, Beaufort, NC 28516.
