Obituary Karl Stevenson Galbraith, 67, a family man and lifelong resident of Mill Hall, died peacefully on April 12 at Carteret General Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Lock Haven, Karl grew up in Mill Hall, where he later raised his own family and lived until moving to the coast of North Carolina six months ago. He was a graduate of Bald Eagle Nittany High School and attended University of Oklahoma on a wrestling scholarship. He was inducted into the District 6 Wrestling Hall of Fame earlier this year. Karl was a sports enthusiast who loved golf, Penn State Athletics and his community. He was a past Exalted Ruler of Lock Haven B.P.O.E. Lodge 182 and served on the Clinton County Recreation Authority. He is remembered as a loyal and devoted friend. His greatest love was his family, especially his beloved wife of nearly 50 years, Susan. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sisters, Linda (Daryl) Stover and Carole (Ed) Merson; two sons, David W. (Kathleen) Galbraith and Michael S. (Katie) Galbraith; a daughter, Kristi L. (Raymond) Mroch; and six grandchildren, Ashley (Aaron) Blosser, Jordan Galbraith, Jacob Galbraith, Lauren Galbraith, Ryan Mroch and Amelia Mroch.
