Obituary June George, 81, of Newport, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022, at Vidant Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at Noe-Brooks Funeral Home. June loved life and lived life to its fullest. June is survived by her two sisters, Gail White and husband, Bill of Morehead City, Bert Wilkes, and husband William of Cape Coral, FL; niece, Kimberly Watkins of Raleigh; and two great nephews, Collin Watkins and Cameron Watkins. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Jean George.
