Obituary Julia Foreman Bragg, 89, of Havelock, North Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2021. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Noe-Brooks Funeral Home in Morehead City. The family will receive friends following the service. The family has requested that everyone attending wear a mask. Julia was born on August 4, 1932, to the late Mack and Kitty Hyman Foreman of Craven County. Julia was a graduate of Elizabeth City State Teachers College. She was an elementary school educator in the public and Christian schools in North Carolina, Virginia and Washington, D.C. for over 40 years. For Julia, the most important things in life were her faith in God, and love for family and friends. Julia leaves to honor her memory; 3 children, Bobby Foreman (Zelma) of Havelock North Carolina, Calvin Bragg of Burlington, North Carolina, Katie Bragg Forney of Greenville, North Carolina, 1 deceased, Maceo Bragg III of Dallas, Texas; 8 grandchildren, Bobby Foremen II, Robert Foreman, Zena Foreman, Sayanna Bragg, Rashida Bragg, Courtney Newkirk, Jonathan Forney and Maceo Jenkins; 11 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, LTC Theodore Foreman, retired, (Wilma) of Chesterfield, Virginia and Oscar Foreman (Gladys) of Havelock, North Carolina; 2 sisters, Lillie Mae Rouse (George) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Martha Gary of Brooklyn, New York; one sister-in-law, Eva Foreman of New Bern, North Carolina, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and her special teacher mate, Linda Mann.
