John Allen Stiles, Sr.

John Allen Stiles, Sr., 84, passed away at Carteret Health Care on Saturday, October 26, 2024.

John Allen was a man of quiet strength and simple pleasures. His hobbies included fishing and enjoying weekend fellowship gatherings at Cox Restaurant. An avid sports fan, he cherished moments spent watching baseball, football, and basketball, as well as tuning into CNN and classic Westerns. His steadfast character and love for life’s simple pleasures left a lasting impression on those who knew him.

John Allen is survived by his daughters Lakenya Evans of Raleigh, NC, and Rita Courman of Franklinton, NC; sons William Frazier (Debbie) of Katy, TX, Kerry Frazier (Sarah) of Lubbock, TX, Rodney Frazier (Valerie) of Wake Forest, NC, and John Stiles, Jr. (Soy) of Concord, NC., sister, Mary Adams, Morehead City, a special granddaughter, Kayden Evans, Smithfield, N.C., and a host of grandchildren, great-grands, nephews, nieces, cousins, caring neighbors and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his father Ennis Stiles, mother Ina Chester Stiles, wife Brenda Frazier Stiles, and son Martin Frazier.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service to honor John’s life will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024, at Noe-Brooks Funeral Home & Crematory, 201 Professional Drive, Morehead City, NC 28557 at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:55 AM (prior to the service). 

In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions can be made to St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church Fellowship Hall Fund. The family is being assisted by Noe-Brooks Funeral Home & Crematory during this difficult time. John Allen will be remembered with love and respect by all who knew him.
