John Hardesty

John R. Hardesty, 73, of New Bern, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Carolina East Medical Center of New Bern.

A service will be held at a later date.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Dawn Hardesty of New Bern; son, John D. Hardesty of New Bern; daughter, Beth Walker and husband, Michael of Vandemere; three grandchildren: Lauryn, Benjamin, and Tyler; two sisters, Barbara Morlock of New Bern; Mary Parson and husband, Darrell of New Bern.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Grace Hardesty.
