Obituary Jillian Lea Smith, 39, of Beaufort, passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2020 in Newport. Jillian was a loving mother, loved spending time with her family. Wonderful friend, selfless, caring, loved life to the fullest. She was generous, she would give you her last dollar. She would give you shirt off her back. She always tried to see the best in everyone. A truly kind soul. She will be sincerely missed. A gathering of friends will be held from 5:00 to 7:00PM on Friday, November 20, 2020 with a time of sharing at 6:00 at Noe-Brooks Funeral Home of Morehead City. She is survived by her two daughters, Katelynn Michelle Watson of Beaufort; Kelly Louise Piner of Beaufort; husband, Christopher Piner of Beaufort; mother, Carla Sue of Virginia; three brothers, Daniel Hazlett of New Bern; Cameron Smith of Virginia; Cullen Smith of Virginia; and many extended family and friends.
