Jeanne Eubanks

Obituary Jeanne Taylor Eubanks, 85, of Beaufort, went to her long awaited heavenly home Thursday, August 14, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 17, at First Free Will Baptist Church, Beaufort, with the Rev. Richard Patterson officiating and the Rev. Ernest Laxton assisting. The interment will take place at Tuttles Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. Jeanne was born on May 10, 1929, in Kinston, NC, to John and Annabelle Taylor. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend. Her generous and kind heart will always be remembered by those whose lives she touched. Jeanne was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church of Beaufort, where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir for many years. She was also the church historian. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Donnie Eubanks of the home; sons, Randy Eubanks and wife, Sally, of Thomasville, James Eubanks and wife, Edith, of Winston-Salem, and John Eubanks of Beaufort; grandchildren, Jamie Hunnings and wife, Denise, Kathy Hunnings and fiance, Ricky Lewis, Steven Eubanks and fiancee, Debbie Stone, Laura Dawson and husband, Josh, Theresa Eubanks and Zander Eubanks, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Annabelle Taylor; a daughter, Donna Hunnings; sisters, Aileen Chestnut and Doris Lewis; brothers, John T. Taylor, Stanley Taylor, and Ronnie Taylor. The family will receive friends at Brooks Funeral Home on Saturday, August 16, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Flowers are welcome or donations may be made to First Free Will Baptist Church, P. O.
