Jason Amos

Obituary Jason Amos, 46, of Morehead City, died Thursday, July 19, 2018, at his home. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2018, at 6:00 PM at Brooks Funeral Home. Jason was born in St. Petersburg, FL on December 28, 1971. He worked here in Carteret County in construction. Jason was a very creative, artistic person who loved all outdoor activities, especially the beach. He is survived by his mother, Marcia Homer Braddy, and her husband, August of Morehead City; sisters, Bridgett Lucas and Shannon Burns, and her husband, Gilbert, all of Newport; maternal grandmother, June Homer, of Florida; and niece, Katie Coleman of Charlotte; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Jason was preceded in death by his brother, Sean Bowman.
