James Woodall

Obituary James Malone Woodall died on Wednesday, Nov. 4, following a brief illness. He was born Dec. 20, 1935 in Durham, the son of Jacob Augustus Woodall and Allie Malone Woodall. He graduated from Durham High School and attended Duke University, being a life-long member of the Iron Dukes. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Anne Cozart Woodall, son William Michael Woodall, his wife Wendy and their son Walker of Durham, daughter Susan Woodall Daniel, her husband Charles, and their daughters Mary Claire Duke, her husband Ryan and their daughter Mary Charles, all of Oxford, and Allie Malone of Raleigh, also surviving is his sister, Judith Woodall Ivins of Windermere, Florida and a multitude of friends whose lives were greatly enriched for having known him. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sat. Nov 7, 2015 at First United Methodist Church, Morehead City, N.C. Immediately following the service the family will greet friends in the atrium. Also, Jimmy will be missed by his granddogs Lucy, Max, Miles, Sammy, Sophie, Max Jr. and the late crazy cat, Reese.
