Obituary James Joseph "Jim" Fudesco, 73, of Beaufort, died Thursday, January 21, 2016, at Carteret Health Care, Morehead City. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 29, at Brooks Funeral Home chapel with Jims son-in-law, the Rev. Nathan Krause, officiating He was born November 27, 1942 in Syracuse, NY to James G. and Helen Ostrowski Fudesco. Jim was an avid fisherman, an awesome story teller, and the best Poppa in the universe who created a lifetime of memories for his grandchildren. He will be remembered by family and friends for his generosity, humor, sincerity, and his fried chicken. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Kathleen E. Fudesco; daughters, Stacy Benton and husband Marlin and their children Audrey and Cadey of Clarksville, MD, Jennifer Krause and husband Nathan and their children Grace and Samuel of Doylestown, PA; son Jeffrey Fudesco and his children Priscilla and James of Syracuse, NY; sister, Suzanne Fudesco of Las Vegas, NV; brother, Rick Fudesco of Philadelphia, PA.
