James David Shelor Jr

Obituary James David Shelor, Jr. 80, of Morehead City, passed away Thursday September 21, 2023, at his home. His memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 29, 2023, in The Family Life Center of Glad Tidings Church, with Chaplain Rick Brooks officiating. James was a graduate of Hargrave Military Academy, in Chatham, VA; and afterwards attended UNC Chapel Hill, where he received his bachelor's degree with a double major in history and political science. He worked many years as a Developer in the manufactured housing industry, and then later worked as a Senior Loan officer for Wells Fargo Bank. He is survived by his loving wife of sixty years, Linda Shelor of Morehead City; daughters, Deborah Forgione of Cary, NC; and Lindsay Shelor of Morehead City; two brothers, Alan Shelor of Atlantic Beach; and George Shelor of Morehead City; and Rosie his grand puppy. James was preceded in death by his parents, James and Marjorie Shelor.
