Isaac Boyd

Isaac Boyd, 90, of Newport passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025, at home.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on April 30, 2025, at Bethlehem Methodist Church in Bogue, NC with full military honors by the United States Navy. A visitation will take place following the service.

Isaac was a proud military veteran who served twenty years in the United States Navy as a Medical Corpsman. He was also a member of Bethlehem Methodist Church in Bogue where he served as an usher for many years. 

He is survived by his wife, Aloa Boyd of Newport; a daughter, Alicia Barefield (David) of Newport; a son, Bruce Boyd (Michelle Edmondson) of Bogue; and a brother, Kenneth Boyd (Kathy) of Mesquite, NV.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two grandsons, Adam Barefield and Eric Weissinger.
