Irene Mary Bell

November 25, 1953 — June 5, 2024

Irene “Renie” Pellettiere Bell of Morehead City, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Carteret Health Care of Morehead City.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 16, 2024, at Noe-Brooks Funeral Home of Morehead City.

Renie was a beacon of love, a vessel of selflessness, and a spirit so spirited it could light the darkest of rooms. She walked this earthly realm with a heart full of joy, spreading kindness and warmth to all she encountered. Her legacy is a tapestry woven with the threads of compassion and steadfastness, a testament to the life she led and the hearts she touched.

Left to cherish her memory and continue her legacy are her beloved son, Joshua Allen Bell of Morehead City, and her precious daughter, Kelsey Bell of Newport. Her joy was multiplied with the blessings of her two grandchildren, Caroline and Callie Baxter, whose lives she enriched with wisdom and love. And though she did not meet her in this life, Renie eagerly awaited the arrival of her newest granddaughter, Kaitlyn, who will no doubt hear of her grandmother's grace and virtue. Renie is also survived by her dear sister, Antonia Pellettiere Skreba of Leland, NC.

Renie now joins in glory her late parents, Vincent and Ida Pellettiere, and her cherished husband, Harry "Allen" Bell, who have preceded her in the divine promenade to Heaven's gates.

Throughout her earthly journey, Renie dedicated herself to the service of the Lord through her unwavering role at The Well Ministry. Her labor was not in vain, for she touched countless lives with her ceaseless faith and devotion. She served as a pillar of strength and wisdom within the community, her work resonating in the hearts of those she served and inspiring a multitude to walk in the light of God's love.

As we bid farewell to Sister Irene "Renie" Pellettiere Bell, let us not dwell on our loss but rejoice in the assurance that she now rests in the eternal embrace of our Savior. May her memory be a balm to our hearts and her life a map that leads us to live with purpose, love without reservation, and serve with the entirety of our being.

Renie's story on this earth has come to a close, but her influence endures, a sweet refrain in the melody of life. May we hold fast to the lessons she imparted and strive to emulate her unwavering faith as we continue our own pilgrimages through this world.
