Obituary Henry Edward Page, 92, died Sunday, at Pruitt Healthcare Center at Sea Level. A celebration of his life was held at Brooks Funeral Home with the Rev. John Grayson officiating. Henry was born November 13, 1933, in Winchester MA to Perley and Gertrude Green Page. He served in the Army Air Corp as a radio operator/navigator on B17 bombers, and later served the Corp as a radio navigation instructor. He was a model maker, cabinet maker and professional photographer, specializing in technical macro photography. He had a great love for the outdoors and for all nature. He and his wife, Valma, bow hunted in Corinth, VT and took their family camping in Canada. Maine, Vermont and Virginia. Henry was an environmentalist before it was popular. He was an "intuitive engineer" with a profound depth of understanding of natures systems, cycles and physical properties, as well as things electrical and mechanical. Henry was a long-time member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church and then All Saints Anglican Church. He is survived by 2 daughters, Barbara P. Barnes, of Carboro, and Virginia T. Crean of White River Junction, VT; one son, Laurence M. Page of Hartland, VT; and 8 grandchildren. In addition to his parents, his wife, Valma, preceded him in death.
